Walter Eugene Lawrence

Walter E. Lawrence, III was born on July 9, 1955 to Walter and Helen Lawrence. He was born in Akron, Ohio. He died on July 13, 2018 at his home. He was a kind man and would help anyone. He graduated from Copley High School, was an Eagle Scout and served in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter E. Lawrence, Jr.; and his brother, Gary Lawrence. Walter is survived by his mother, Helen Lawrence; his brother, Larry Lawrence (Lisa); his sons, Jamie of San Francisco and Walter, IV of Franklin, KY; his grandchildren, Lucien, Aris and Willow; his nephew, Matthew Lawrence; his nieces, Amanda Lawrence and Katie Buchanan (Joseph); his sister-in-law, Diane Lawrence; and special friend, Mary Ann Hoffman. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at 7 p.m. at Allenside Presbyterian Church, 410 Rexford St. Akron, OH 44314. Rev. Frances Fisher officiating.
