Walter Carkhuff

Walter Carkhuff, 79, passed away on Friday, January 27, 2017 at Akron General Medical Center.
He was born to Abraham and Gladys Carkhuff and was employed by the Summit County Developmental Disabilities Board. Walter loved collecting toy trucks and going shopping.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and is survived by many friends who cared for him very much.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron, Ohio 44301 where a Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Burial will take place at Northampton Cemetery in Cuyahoga Falls immediately following.
