Vivian Rose Swigart (nee Kolton), 84, went to her heavenly home on January 7, 2016. Born in Akron, the daughter of Frank and Rose Kolton, she graduated from St. Mary's High School and St. Thomas Hospital School of Nursing. Vivian was retired from Massillon State Hospital where she worked as a psychiatric nurse. She had been a member of St. George Catholic Church in Clinton.

Preceded in death by her husband, Paul, she is survived by children, David, Lisa (Dave) Painter, Cindy (Doug) Goble, Daniel (Patti), Jeannine (Peter) Racco, Paula (Tim) Moody, Martin, Teresa (Mitch) Rex, Stefanie (Joe) Leeson, Carl (Denise), Valara (Ben) Gee; siblings, Martha LIpford, James Kolton, and Barbara Easterling; 16 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

There will be no calling hours. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday at 11:00 at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, interment Holy Cross Cemetery. PROCESSION WILL FORM AT CHURCH.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made for the restoration of the National Shrine of St. Dymphna in memory of Vivian Swigart (PO Box 4, Massillon, OH 44648).
