Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Vincenzo Iovine, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who departed this world peacefully on November 13, 2025, at the age of 95. Vincenzo was born on April 7, 1930, in Naples, Italy to the late Giovanni and Ida (nee: Russo) Iovine. Vincenzo emigrated to the United States in 1960 to join his wife Luciana, who he met dancing in Capodimonte Italy in 1952 and married in 1957. They spent the majority of their life raising family in the communities of Buffalo Grove, IL and Stow, OH.

Vincenzo lived a rich and industrious life, dedicating 30 years to working as a foreman at the BetCar printing company, including over 20 years working side by side with Luciana, and several summers with both of his sons. His strong work ethic and commitment to his craft earned him the respect of his colleagues and laid a foundation of stability for his family. Despite his humble education in Italy, Vincenzo embodied wisdom and strength throughout his life, embracing every challenge that came his way.

He is remembered fondly by his family, including his devoted sons, Maurice and John Iovine, and his daughter-in-law, Cynthia Iovine. He took great joy in his grandchildren, Hannah, Reece, and Presley Iovine, who were the light of his life. His legacy of love will live on through them.

Vincenzo is survived by his dear brother Armando, who will forever hold dear the memories of laughter and love they shared. His passing leaves a void that will be felt by all who knew him, yet his spirit will continue to resonate in the hearts of his loved ones.

Vincenzo was preceded in death by brothers Gino and Guiseppe (Peppino) and sisters Gaetana, Olga, Elvira, and Gianinna.

Family will receive friends Thursday Nov. 20 at the Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home 3333 Kent R, Stow OH, from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon, where a funeral service will be held at 12 noon with Father John, and internment to follow at the Northlawn Memorial Gardens located at 4724 State Rd, Peninsula, OH 44264. All those who knew and loved Vincenzo are invited to join us in remembering a remarkable man whose life was characterized by resilience, dedication, and unwavering love for his family.

May he rest in peace.
