Victoria Francis Weakland

Victoria F. Weakland, 97, passed away Sunday, September 3, 2017.
Victoria was born September 24, 1919 to the late Frank & Lucia Paciolla, and was a lifelong area resident. She was a member of Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Victoria took immense joy in taking care of her family and friends. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
In addition to her parents, Victoria was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 62 years, George; daughter Sharon Abbott; siblings Marianne, Thomas, Angelo and Mary. She is survived by her children Janice Hagerman, Rita (Daniel) Sliman and Robert Weakland; grandchildren Rick (Denise) Abbott, Renee Abbott & Jonathan Sliman; and great-grandchildren Kyler, Hope and Samantha; as well as many dear in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Special thanks to Summa Hospice nurses and staff for their compassionate care and comfort during Victora's last months.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 Noon on Friday, September 8 at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 1800 Steese Road, Uniontown, OH 44685, where the family will receive friends 1 hour prior, beginning at 11:00 AM. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church.
