Vicki G. (Police) Laslo

Vicki G. Laslo, 70, went home to be with the Lord on June 18, 2021.
Vicki was born on August 14, 1950, to Cappie and Ray Police. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Rick, parents and sister Rae Lee Shepherd. She is survived by children Todd (Brigitte), Matt, Misty (Tim) Brown, Mandy (Shawn) Brand, and Josh (Hannah); sister Mary Jo (Jeff) Marshall; nine grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Vicki was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. She had a big heart and touched many throughout her life. She worked at B&W as a keypunch early on and then as a waitress at Coventry Drive-In, where she met her future husband, Rick. In addition to raising her own five children, she touched the lives of dozens of families and children through her babysitting "career". Later, she and Rick ran the Portage Lakes Root Beer Stand for 10 years. In her spare time, Vicki loved to sew, paint, and crochet, but her greatest passion was her grandchildren. She was a Christ follower for 45 years and helped Rick run the youth group at Community Church of Portage Lakes. Vicki was welcomed into the Kingdom of God, leaving behind her earthly troubles, and Jesus greeted her saying "Welcome Home".
The family will receive friends on Friday, June 25 from 5-7PM at the Anthony Funeral Home, McGowan Reid and Santos Chapel, 247 Stow Ave, in Cuyahoga Falls, where a funeral service will be held at 7:00PM. After the service, friends and family are invited to share food and drink as we remember and celebrate Vicki's life at Grandview UMC, 2315 Phelps Ave, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223.
