Veroslava Mitrovic

Veroslava Mitrovic, 85, passed away on October 29, 2026.
Veroslava was born in Yugoslavia on August 5, 1941 and came to the US in 1966. She was a member of the former St.'s Peter and Paul Serbian Orthodox Church and was currently a member of St. Demetrius. Veroslava worked as a cook at Belgrade Gardens in Barberton for over 20 years. She loved vegetable gardening and spending time with the grandkids and great-grandkids.
Veroslava was preceded in death by her parents Zivko and Dobrinka Atanaskovic; her husband Milutin and son-in-law Radojko Djordjevic. She is survived by her children Bob (Christine) Mitrovic and Gordana Djordjevic; grandchildren Ashley Mitrovic, Sandra (Jason) Yerkey, and Sasa (Kelly) Djordjevic; great-grandchildren Justin and Jason Greathouse, Keely Day and Luka & Isabelle Yerkey; brother Tomislav (Ljubinka) Atanaskovic and sister Milanka Velickovic.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 3, from 5-7 pm, with a Pomen taking place at 6:30 pm, at the Anthony Funeral Home - Akron Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, November 4, 11 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Lakewood Cemetery in Akron.
