Twila "Toots" Skidmore, 74, of Wadsworth formerly of Stow passed away on June 1. Born in Homer, Nebraska she was a Stow resident from 1975 to 1996 when she and her husband retired to Deland, Florida. They only recently returned to Ohio, settling in Wadsworth. While living in Stow, Toots was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Cuyahoga Falls. Her survivors include husband of 55 years, James "Phil" Skidmore; daughters, Tammie (John) Leonino, Teri (David) Sansonetti, and Tricia (Matt) Hodge; grandchildren, John Philip, David, Samantha, Anina, Maria, Maci, Rylie, and Matthew. One of 13 children, she also leaves many brothers and sisters. Friends may call on Thursday, June 4 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Dunn-Quigley Stow Chapel where funeral services will take place at 7:00 p.m. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery will take place at a later date.
