Timothy James Poth

Timothy James Poth, aged 36, passed away on July 30th at Summa Health Systems. His passing was an unexpected tragedy, and his family is deeply saddened by his loss. He was our beloved son, grandson, brother, nephew, husband, father and friend.
Tim was born in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio to parents Kimberly Letson and Steven Poth. Tim was an adventurous kid that loved BMX bike racing, fast cars, dogs and motorcycles. He was an artist and loved to create. Tim always had a story to tell and could talk to anyone. He was known for his sense of humor and fun-loving spirit. He loved spending time with family and was always the life of the party.
Tim was a grandma's boy and momma's boy. He would do anything for his mother and grandmother, and they doted upon him. Then two new ladies came into his life. Tim married Mackenzie Poth (ie Morrow) and had a precious daughter, Skylar Elayne Poth. Those ladies completed his life and brought him more joy than he thought possible. Tim and Kenzie were one month shy of 6 years of marriage.
Timothy was proceeded in death by his beloved grandmother, Patty Bauer, grandfather, Joe Poth, former stepfather, Mark Keller and Aunt Jennifer Biscan.
He is survived by parents Kim Letson (Chris)and Steven Poth (Lori), siblings, Joseph Poth (Katie), Brianne Keller (Logan) Jordan Poth (Stacie), Jaret Poth (Kyleigh), Michael Poth (Ella), in-laws Tonya LaFaber (Adam), Chris Morrow (Theresa) grandfather, Thomas Bauer, grandmother, Dixie Poth (Dave), former step-mom, Cassie Davis, nieces and nephew Millie, Maggie and Tatum, Bo, Hazel, Aubrey, Leilani and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family would like to take this time to remember and celebrate Tim's wonderful life. Calling hours will be held at Anthony Funeral Homes 1990 S. Main St. Akron, Oh 44301 on Monday, August 5,2024 from 3pm to 7pm.
