Obituary

Thomas Patrick Reidy, 78, of Munroe Falls, passed away on Feb. 28. Born in Akron the son of the late Henry and Agnes Reidy. Tom grew up in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, graduated from Archbishop Hoban High School and eventually spent most of his career in the rubber industry where he worked as a sales engineer. He was a very affable person and he enjoyed traveling and made friends wherever he went.

Tom was a devoted husband and father, and "Papa" to his grandchildren whom he treasured. He valued his time with his family above all else.

Since retirement from Abtrex Industries, he enjoyed biking, swimming, and innumerable home projects. He especially loved traveling with his family.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Henry, and sister, Trudy Koval. His survivors include wife of 37 years, Linda; children, Jay (Malinda) Reidy, Lisa (Matt) Denholm, Trudy (Chip) Walden, Thomas (Kristy) Reidy, Todd (Lisa) Reidy, and Tina (Derek) Morris; stepdaughter, Allison (Bryan) Richter; sisters, Betty (Paul) Stitzel, and Marie Moewe; grandchildren, Owen and Joshua Reidy, Jonathan and Parker Denholm; as well as other grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Calling hours will be on Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Dunn-Quigley Stow Chapel (3333 Kent Rd. at Rt. 91). Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Eugene Catholic Church.
