Thomas Augostino Parente

Thomas "Red" Parente, 62, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family after a brief illness.
Raised in Watervliet, NY, Tom moved to Ohio in the early 2000s. He worked for Carboline, where he was a paint and coatings inspector. Tom was an avid camper, a home-repair master, and truly a jack of all trades. He loved nothing more than watching all his kids and grandkids in their endeavors and achieve their dreams.
Tom is survived by his loving wife, Linda (Madden); children Giovona (Brian) Eaton, Tommy Parente, Samantha (Ricky) Rojas, Emily Fetter, Sarah Alhassani, Nicholas (Stephanie) Alhassani; beloved Papa to 13 grandbabies; sister Anne-Marie (Brian) Nolan; brother Steven Parente; special brother Paul Nicsevic; mother of his children Phyllis Marro; 13 nieces and nephews; and many additional family, close friends & coworkers. Tom was preceded in death by his parents Armando & Jeanne Parente; and his best friend & beloved brother Michael Parente.

Friends may call on Wednesday, December 7 from 4-7PM at the Anthony Funeral Homes, Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S Main St in Akron, where a funeral service will be held Thursday at 11AM. A memorial service will be held in the Albany, New York area; details forthcoming.
