Thomas Edward Keplinger

Thomas E. Keplinger, 71, passed away Thursday, January 27, 2022.

He was born in Akron on November 30, 1950 to the late Stephen & Irene Keplinger and was lifelong area resident. He graduated from Garfield Highschool and served in the US Army during Vietnam. Tom worked for the USPS, retiring in 2005. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, watching football, and spending time with his many grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Stephen Jr. He is survived by his wife Rachel; sons Brian, Jason (Debbie) & Kevin (Brandi); stepdaughter Carmen Castillo; grandchildren Jason, Kayla, Ava, Anastacia, Trent, Addi, Andrew, Michael, & Triston; mother-in-law Alice Butler; siblings Rosemary (Fred) Capotosto, Anne (Paul) Williams, & Loretta (Michael) Williams; and many nieces, nephews and other loved ones.

The family will receive friends from 10-11AM on Saturday, February 5 at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 1800 Steese Road in Green, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11AM. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
