Thomas A. Cobb Sr., 99, died peacefully in in his sleep on Thursday, August 11, 2022.

Tom was born July 28, 1923 in Sanford, Florida to Robert Cobb and Izetta Stone.

He proudly served in the Air Force during World War II from August 29, 1942 to July 6, 1945. He was a Staff Sergeant Gunner on the B-17E Flying Fortress at Polebrook, Northamptonshire, England.

Tom retired from a long and successful career at State Farm Insurance Company.

Tom met Marguerite Hughes (Gregg) in a bereavement class. They were married on July 19, 1992 in New Smyrna, Florida.

He is survived by his wife Marguerite, son Thomas Jr. (Ruth), daughter Janet Hinze (Dave), stepdaughters Kathy (Paul) Sayre, Janice (Mike) MacFarlane, Nancy Gregg and Mary Weigand, by his many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchild.

He was predeceased in death by daughter Carla and sons Larry Michael and Frank Allan.

A private family service will be held Wednesday, August 17th at Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home, located at 3333 Kent Rd., Stow, Ohio.
