The world lost a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Theresa Wenzel went home to be with the Lord on February 12, 2024. She was born on February 6, 1936 in Germany to parents Emil and Rosa Schreiner. She emigrated from Germany and spent her entire life in Akron.

Besides her parents Theresa was preceded in death by husband, Clarence and special friend William Corbett: brothers, Robert and Joseph; and sister, Erna; son, Robert; grandchildren, Robert Jr. and Christina; and son, David.

She is survived by daughter Lisa; grandchildren, Kevin (Heather), Jamie and Jessica; son, Brian (Shelley); grandchildren Davis and Rachel; brother, Adolf (Helga) Schreiner; including her loving nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.

Theresa retired from Summit County Weaver School.

Graveside service will be at Holy Cross Cemetery on Friday, February 16, at 11:00am with Father Michael Williamson officiating.
