Theresa Bettes, 89, of Akron passed away on May 6, 2021. She was born in Austria in 1931. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Parish and the German Family Society of Brimfield. Theresa was preceded in death by her husband, Anton; her parents Franz and Maria Hirsch; sister, Marie; and granddaughter Christina. Her survivors include her children Alfred (Debra) Bettes and Marian Geister (Marc); granddaughters, Amy Bettes and Lisa (Ryan) Smith; and great grandchild, Titus; as well as sister Romana Pauritsch and family in Austria. Funeral services will be on Saturday, May 15th at 11:00 a.m. at the Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home (811 Grant St.) where friends and family may call one hour prior to service time. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. .
