Thelma B. Horwath, 101, of Akron passed away peacefully on January 17, 2021. Born in Uniontown, Pa on December 24, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lucy Hickle. She was a member of the Church of God in Green. Preceded in death by her husband, Steve, and daughtes, Nora Brown and Barb Robensteine, she is survived by son, Stephen; daughter Sharon Cooper; and grandchildren, Terry, Dan, and Dale Brown, Jason, Jeremy Frient, Jessica McGrath, Beth Smith, and David Robensteine; great grandchildren, Jamie and Jennifer. Pastor David Cross will officiate at a funeral service on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at the Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home (811 Grant St.) where friends may call from Noon to service time. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
