Suzanne Marie (Skapsik) Monago

Suzanne Marie Monago, 71, passed away Sunday May 25, 2025 peacefully in her sleep.

Sue was born in Akron on August 4, 1953 and was a lifelong area resident. She worked for Green Local School District as a special education aid, and retired in 2017. Sue enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and testing her luck at the casinos.

Sue is survived by her husband of 52 years, Tony; daughters Michele (Tony) Holcomb and Lisa (Josh) Reese; grandchildren Ryan, Andrew, Abby, Mason, and Connor; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother and father-in-law Mary & Tony Monago.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 4 from 6-8PM at the Anthony Funeral Home of Green, 4178 Massillon Road in Green. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5 at 10AM at the funeral home. Interment at Uniontown Greenlawn Cemetery.
