Susan Jane (Wawrin) Kareski

Susan Jane Kareski, 78, passed away on July 1, 2025.
Sue was born in Akron on February 6, 1947 to the late Peter & Lyla Wawrin and was a 1964 graduate of North High School. She was a faithful member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church for over 50 years and worked as the school secretary at Immaculate Heart of Mary Grade school for 28 years. Sue worked almost 15 years at Blossom Music Center in the summers and for Sue Comko, CPA.
In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her husband John; sister Judy & great-niece Jaimie.
She is survived by her beloved daughters Michalene (Jeff) Wilkey and Megan (Tony) Falco & granddaughters Maya & Maddie, as well as numerous nieces & a nephew. She also leaves behind dear friends Jill, Jane, Barbara, & Janice, as well as her CLUB group of over 60 years.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 14, 11 am, with the family receiving friends one hour prior, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 1905 Portage Trail in Cuyahoga Falls.
