Sue Ann (Frank) Fleming

Sue Ann Fleming, 90, passed away surrounded by family, one day shy of her 91st birthday, on October 29, 2022.
Sue was born in Canton, OH on October 30, 1931 to the late Raymond & Catherine Frank and was a 1950 graduate of Canton Central Catholic High School. Sue worked as a teacher's aide for the Cuyahoga Falls School District for nearly 25 years. She was a faithful member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church where she sung in the choir. Sue sang in the Akron Symphony Chorus, the Laurel Lake Chorus, and was a member of The Royal Set, an a cappella double trio that enjoyed much laughter and singing across Summit County. Sue enjoyed playing cards, especially Euchre with her cousins and in Bridge clubs.
In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her first husband Richard Shine; son Steven and granddaughter Monica; siblings Joe, Mary, Rosemarie, Monica & Jim. She is survived by her beloved husband of 46 years, Richard; daughters Sandy (Tom) Michaels, Laura (Robert) Harper, Carol (Brian) Cain, & Deborah (David) Wuest; grandchildren Andrew Shine, Nicole & Ryan Michaels, Kerrigan (Serafina), Aaron, & Colleen Cain, Isabella & Matthew Wuest; great-grandson Luca Cain; sister Nancy Thompson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Tom McCann on Saturday, November 5, 11 am, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 1905 Portage Trail Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
