Stephen J. Zamesko was born in Akron on October 16, 1939 and passed away peacefully on July 13, 2022 with his family at his side. He was preceded in death by his mother, Anna (DeMosley) and father, Stephen Zamesko, Sr.; sister, Mary Ann Salzwimmer and niece, Wendy Salzwimmer. Steve is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Antonia (Berardi); daughters, Lorie (Jim) Papp and Kathleen Zamesko (Theresa Roth); sisters, Jackie (Paul) Heilman and Angie (Berardi) Caruso; along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Steve was devoted to his family, his Country, serving in the Army and 50 years of employment with the U.S. Post Office. He worked hard, volunteered hours to his Parish Ministries; and still had time to enjoy his hobbies and love of gardening, music, old movies, classic cars and with a smile, making everyone laugh with his jokes and sense of humor. Our deepest gratitude and many thanks to the Cleveland Clinic Hospice Care Staff.
