Stephen Michael Walker

Stephen M. Walker, 58, passed away far too soon on March 29, 2023 after a year of bravely battling ALS.

Preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Jane Walker, and his older brother Pat, Steve leaves behind his loving wife Melissa and his adoring daughters Miranda and Meredith; his siblings Chris (Donna) Walker, Karen (John) Mayer, Stephanie Walker, and Cheryl (Jeff) Ningard; sisters-in-law Gaylyn Walker, Desiree (Bruce) Bolden, Andrea (Mark) Rossiter, and Patricia (David) Ochmann; father-in-law William (Sharon) Mullen; brother-in-law Jens (Linda) Riogeist; and numerous nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends, all of whom love and will miss him dearly.

Born July 11, 1964, Steve was a graduate of Immaculate Heart of Mary School, Woodridge High School, and the University of Akron. He was recently recognized for 28 years of dedicated service as Trade Marketing Manager for Anheuser-Busch.

Steve will always be remembered for his affable nature, his jovial laugh, and his warm, easy smile, except, of course, when his beloved Buckeyes lost. Steve enjoyed sports and music of every kind, as well as all things Budweiser. Above all else, he cherished his family, especially his daughters. May their heartbreaking loss be tempered by the knowledge that they were the light of their father's life.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, April 2 from 2-5 pm at Anthony Funeral Home in Green, 4178 Massillon Rd. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, April 3 at 11 am at Queen of Heaven Church, 1800 Steese Rd. in Uniontown. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The ALS Association Northern Ohio Chapter in Independence or Traditions Health Hospice & Palliative Care in Cuyahoga Falls.
