Stephen DeForeest Clark, 70, unexpectedly left this earth on August 25, 2022 from Parma, Ohio. Before departing he left an indelible mark through a life well lived.
Born and raised in Cuyahoga Falls by his now deceased parents, DeForeest and Rita Clark, Steve graduated from Walsh Jesuit High School in 1970 and later the University of Akron with a degree in Economics. He had a variety of work experiences both in Ohio and Florida.
While Steve had an eye for nice cars, his true passions and what was paramount for him were his love of music and family. Through different bands he shared his talent and lifelong love of jazz playing the saxophone and bass guitar.
It was in Florida that he met his wife of 38 years, Tina (Richardson) who ventured with him through different opportunities and experiences in Ohio and Florida. She will miss him tremendously along with his children Rene (Jonathan) Stufft, Colleen (Joseph) Dula, Stephen (Emily) Clark, Matthew (Molly) Clark of whom he had immense pride. Steve had a deep and abiding love for his grandchildren: Lorelai, Luke, Vivian, Joseph John, Adeline, Nicholas, Christopher, Andrew, Natalie, Maxwell, and Maura. His friends and family will cherish the memories they made with him.
A memorial service will be celebrated on Saturday September 10, 2022 at 4PM at Anthony Funeral Homes, 1990 S. Main St in Akron, where family will receive friends beginning at 3PM.
