Spasija (Kadinec) Benya

Spasija Benya, 88 died October 18, 2024.
She was born in Prilep, Yugoslavia and immigrated to America to begin a new life. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting and spending time with family and friends. She was a member of St Nikola Macedonian Orthodox church and worked at Melch's salads.
She was preceded in death by husband John, stepsons John D. (Helen) and Daniel, stepdaughter Mildred (James) and stepgrandchildren Richard, Julia and Larissa. Survivors include stepdaughter's in-law Charlotte and Pamela, 8 stepgrandchildren, 14 step-great grandchildren, family abroad nieces, nephews and friends.
A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, 11 am at Anthony Funeral Home AKRON CHAPEL, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service. Interment at Lakewood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St Nikola Macedonian Orthodox Church 5305 Massillon Road Canton, OH 44720 or to a charity of your choice.
