Sidonia Kungl

Sidonia 'Sadie' Kungl, 87, passed away suddenly on February 17, 2017. Born in Austria on May 6, 1929 to the late Josef & Maria Kresse, Sadie came to the US in 1952. She was a longtime parishioner of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. She took her long awaited journey to be with her beloved husband Joseph, who died in 1975, Sadie was also predeceased by 7 siblings and beloved niece Lora Leifheit. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law Herb and Eva Kresse of Mogadore; brother Walter (Renate) Kresse and sister Brigitte Roshker, as well as many cousins, nieces & nephews all of Austria; She will be missed so much by her nieces & nephews Herb Jr. & Susan Kresse, Kyle & Mike Leifheit; godchildren Sadie, Nancy, and George, as well as many other special cousins, nieces & nephews,. Per Sadie's wishes, a private graveside service will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in Akron. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Summit County Children's Services 264 S. Arlington Street, Akron, Ohio, 44306.
