Shirley Ann Decheco

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Ann DeCheco on May 30, 2025, at the age of 73. Born on May 7, 1952, Shirley was truly one in a million-a woman whose warmth, generosity, and spirit touched everyone she met.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Jack DeCheco, and her beloved son, Nathan. Shirley was the kind of mother everyone wished they had-loving, selfless, and endlessly supportive. Whether it was family, friends, or strangers, she would do anything for anyone without hesitation.

A gifted cook with a passion for bringing people together, Shirley poured her heart into founding DeCheco's Pizzeria. What began as a dream became a community favorite-built on her talent, work ethic, and the simple belief that good food could bring joy to others.

To honor her incredible life, a Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 6th at Guy's Party Center from 4pm-8pm, the same venue where countless Shirley and Jack parties have been held. Friends and loved ones are invited to gather, share memories, and celebrate the beautiful soul she was.

Shirley's legacy will live on in every meal, every act of kindness, and every life she touched. She was the life of every party, the heart of her family, and the soul of her community. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
