Shari A. (Lackner) Nagy

Shari A. Nagy (Lackner), 26, passed away unexpectedly after a courageous battle with Leukemia.
Shari was born in Stongsville, OH on April 21, 1994 to the late John & Mary Kay Lackner. She was a 2012 graduate of Pickerington North High School, where she was a member of the tennis team. She was a proud 2015 graduate of Kent State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. She was currently employed by Riverview Local Schools in Coshocton and was a fourth grade teacher at Conesville Elementary School. Shari loved to read and go to the beach, especially Hilton Head. She loved the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Shari never let life get her down. She was positive at all times and fought bravely to defeat her illness. Shari was a selfless human being, always putting others before herself. She was a passionate teacher who loved all of her students. Shari was an animal lover and always had a soft spot for an animal in need.
In addition to her parents, Shari was preceded in death by her grandparents Al & Ellie Lackner and her dog Bailey. She is survived by her beloved husband of nearly two years, Ed; grandparents Al & Kathy Peloso; mother-in-law & father-in-law Maureen & Ed Nagy; brothers-in-law Michael & Kyle Nagy; uncles Bill (Tammy) & Peter Lackner; cousin Amanda Peloso and close family friend Bruce Creasap.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 27, from 11 am to 2 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron, where a funeral service will immediately follow. Masks and social distancing will be required. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial contribution in Shari's memory to their local humane society.
