Shannon Heiss, 59, of Munroe Falls, went home to be with her Lord on Feb. 13. Born in Akron to the late Shelton and Catherine Hartline, Shannon has been a lifelong area resident. She served on staff at Riverwood Community Chapel in a full time capacity for the past15 years where she served in countless ways including Care Ministry Director and Director of Women's Ministries. She will be greatly missed by the many whose lives she touched. Shannon is survived by her husband of 13yrs. David; daughters, Erin Madenfort (Mitch), and Lindsey Yanni Friend (Kurt); brothers, Donald Hartline (Pat), and Shelton Hartline (Candi); and grandchildren, Mitchell, Mason, Jaret, Joel, Sofia, and Payton. Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 6 - 9 p.m. and from 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Riverwood Community Chapel (1407 Fairchild Ave., Kent) where funeral services will take place on Wednesday at 11:00. Interment will follow. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Care Ministry at Riverwood.
