Saverio "Sam" Barbieri, 93, of Munroe Falls passed away on September 20, 2022. Born in San Vito, Calabria, Italy to the late Francesco and Rosa Barbieri, Sam came to this country in 1957. He was self employed as a carpenter/contractor and was a member of Holy Family Parish.

In 2014 he was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Maria. His survivors include daughter, Rosemary Barbieri (John); sons, Anthony (Maria), and Frank (Maggie); sister, Maria Gironda; and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Dunn-Quigley Stow Chapel (3333 Kent Rd. at Rt.91). Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
