Sarah "Sally" Mallory, 87,  passed away on April 11, 2023 at Parma. A daughter of the late Willie and Grace (Nee Parton) Sherrill. Sally was a 40 year resident of Monroe Falls.

Born and raised in Akron she was passionate about claiming her southern roots from Tennessee the home of her family. Her joys including entertaining and having card parties, playing Euchre and double Pinochle. Travel and bus trips were also a source of joy with friends. Sally was always in high heels and something sparkly. She loved fashion and jewelry.

She was a member of Greentown United Methodist Church and

retired from first Merit Bank in Akron. she was also a longtime Volunteer at Summa Hospital in Akron

She is survived by her son, Donald A (Noel) Mallory, grandchildren, Jeff (Ashley), Steve (Megan) Mallory, Lori Mallory and Lindsay (Jack) Wilson; great grandchildren Mitchell, Mathew, Jack, Christian, Zoe and Fiona; and also her dear close cousin, Lois Gould, whom she thought of as her sister.

In addition  to her husband of 56 years, Donald G. Mallory, she is preceded in death by her brother, Alvin Sherrill.

Pastor Amy Shaw of the Greentown United Methodist Church will officiate. Services are private and there will be no visitation.
