Sarah Starr Miller, 47, passed away unexpectedly in her sleep during the early morning of Sunday, August 25, 2024.
She was born and lived her entire life in Akron. She was a hairdresser by trade and worked at Great Clips in Green. Sarah lived for music and going to concerts. It was rare for her to miss a chance to see her favorite musicians perform live. She loved animals and visited the Akron zoo as often as she could. She was a lifelong Guardians Baseball Fan and also enjoyed Penguins Hockey. Sarah adored dogs and volunteered at the Summit County Humane Society where she would walk and train the pups who were going up for adoption. She also loved art and was an avid tattoo collector.
Sarah was preceded in death by her grandparents, Barb and Bill Brown and Cliff and Imogene Miller. Sarah is survived by her parents, Ronald Ray and Wendy (Brown) Miller; sisters and brothers-in-law, Tabatha and Solomon Ocansey and Elisa and Errol Wilde; two nieces (Gwen and Raven) and two nephews (Elliot and Liam).
Visitation for family and friends to celebrate Sarah's life will be held Saturday, September 7, 2024 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron, Ohio 44301. There will be refreshments and snacks after for all who would like to stay and talk.
