Sandra Yvonne Vercuski

Sandra Yvonne Vercuski, 83, passed away on March 22, 2025 at Danbury Senior Living in Brunswick.

Sandy was born November 25, 1941 in Elizabethtown, PA to Walter and Margaret Bernhard. She was a hairdresser and owned her own shop in Wallhaven. Sandy was a talented seamstress. She was a part of Project Linus, sewing together blankets for children in the hospital. Sandy loved spending time with her family, especially her only granddaughter Paige. She was well known for her Christmas cookies.

In addition to her parents, Sandy was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 43 years, John, and brothers Walter and Ronald. She is survived by her sons Richard and Scott (Carrie), granddaughter Paige, and sisters Shirley, Linda, and Marilyn.

Calling hours will be held from 10:00 AM to noon on Monday, April 7 at the Anthony Funeral Home, 4178 Massillon Road, Uniontown OH 44685 (Corner of Massillon And Steese Roads, entrance off Steese Road). A funeral service will take place at noon. Burial will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.
