Sandra J. Mcgee

Sandra J. McGee, 65, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at the Hospice Care Center.
Sandra was born May 23, 1948 to Walter and Mildred (Gadjansky) Kaludy in Akron and had been an Akron resident her entire life. Her true vocation was as a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and good friend. She was a people person and enjoyed thirty years as a receptionist with her bother, Samuel S. Kaludy DDS. People looked forward to a dental visit and still ask about her after she retired. Community was important to her. Sandra and friends from her PTA days were the informal Firestone Park Patrol.
Sandra is survived by her husband of 45 years William; children Scott (Kimberly), Steven (Natalie) and Laura McGee; grandchildren Andrew, Madison, Colin, Maren and Landon McGee; and her brothers Michael (Elaine) and Samuel (Debbie) Kaludy.
The family deeply appreciates Dr. Esther Rehmus and the staff of Akron General Hospital McDowell Cancer for their gracious and loving care.
Funeral Services will be held Monday 11:00 am at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 to 6 pm at the funeral home. Donations may be made to the McDowell Cancer Center, 224 W. Exchange St., Akron, Ohio 44307.
