Samuel Jones, 63, of Kent passed away on August 17, 2022. Born in Cleveland the son of the late Neal and Cecilia Jones, Sam was a graduate of Kent State University. He was a long-time member of the New Apostolic Church in Stow where he served as the organist for many years.

His survivors include brother, Clifford (Gloria) Jones; nieces and nephews, Kelly Hettle, Stacey Purdy, Joe Demark, Christopher Jones, Matthew Jones, Andrea Saliba, Jessica Grondolsky and Amanda Grondolsky. He also leaves many great-nephews and great-nieces. Sam loved his pets. His cats, Molly, Sampson, and Roxie also miss him greatly. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings, Laura Grondolsky Cannon and Sonny Grondolsky.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, Sept. 6 at 7:00p.m. at the New Apostolic Church of Stow. Friends may call from 6 until service time.
