Samuel Anthony Ray Bell

Samuel Anthony Ray Bell, 15, passed away October 28, 2026.

Sam was born November 11, 2010 in Billings, Montana. He currently attended Jackson High School and Faith Family Church. Sam was an honorary member of the Jackson Football Team.

He enjoyed watching sports and playing with his dogs, Duke and Charlie. Sam was a storyteller-he loved to chat on the phone with his Mom. He knew a little bit about everything; he paid very close attention to his surroundings, especially planes, trucks, and school buses. When he was little, he enjoyed spending time with his sister, Amber, who he was very close with. Sam also built masterpieces out of Legos.

Sam is preceded in death by his grandmother Velta Morton. He is survived by his mother Joyce McCartney, sister Amber Bell; brothers Timothy and Tyler Hicks; foster parents Dale and Michelle Settle.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday, November 4 from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 6:00 PM at Anthony Funeral Home - Akron Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron.
