Ruth Lynn Thompson

GREEN - Ruth Lynn Thompson, 73, passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at Akron City Hospital.

Ruth Lynn was born October 21, 1947 to Benjamin and Virginia (Bishop) Thompson in Bellevue, PA. She was received a Masters Degree in education from West Virginia University and taught at Marshall County Schools in West Virginia for 33 years retiring in 2004. She never lost her love for the Steelers.

Ruth Lynn was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her sisters Rebekah Thompson and Virginia (fiancé Mike Bujorian) Hargest; niece Lindsey (Steve) Wilson; nephew Ben Hargest; great nephews James and Wyatt Wilson.

Cremation has taken place and inurnment will take place at Mt. Royal Memorial Park in Glenshaw, PA. In lieu of flowers, please donate children's books to your local library.
