Ruth (Ganzer) Mohlmaster

Ruth Ganzer Mohlmaster passed away peacefully on July 31, 2021, at Akron General Hospital. She was born November 10, 1928, in Smithville, Ohio, the child of German Immigrants who settled in Wayne County. Ruth worked for AT&T for 25 years and was a longtime member of Telephone Pioneers, Communications Workers of America and Emmanuel United Church of Christ. She enjoyed all music, travel, and breakfast with friends. Ruth is survived by her beloved daughter Wendy Mohlmaster of Cuyahoga Falls. Her husband Harold preceded her as did her sister Ethel Ganzer Frost and brother Burton Ganzer. She leaves numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends in Wayne County and Akron.
Burial has taken place at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park in Cuyahoga Falls. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 21, from 4-6 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home McGowan-Reid & Santos Chapel, 247 Stow Ave. (at Third St., one block north of Portage Trail in) Cuyahoga Falls.
