GREEN - Russell A. Stanley, 76, passed away Monday, June 15, 2015 at Akron City Hospital.
Russell was born March 18, 1939 in Akron and had been a Green resident for most of his life. He was a mechanical engineer for B & W Corp. for 42 years retiring in 1999. He enjoyed golf and bowling.
Russell is survived by his beloved wife, of 52 years, Sue; children Cindy (Art) Beall and Scott Stanley; grandson Zayne Stanley; brother Larry (Judy) Stanley and was preceded in death by step brother James.
The family will receive friends Thursday 5 to 7 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St., Akron where funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 am. Interment Greenlawn Memorial Park. (Anthony, AKRON, 330-724-1281, anthonyfh.com)
