Russell William Chipner

LAS VEGAS - Russell William Chipner, 81, passed away Saturday, December 23, 2017.
Russ was born in Cleveland to the late Michael & Mary Chipner. He graduated from Akron-Garfield High School and Purdue University. Russ worked as a mechanical engineer for NASA, General Electric and Martin Marietta, before settling into freelance work. He was faithful in the Russian Eastern Orthodox Church. Russ enjoyed life and simply did what he wanted to do.
Russ is survived by his wife Nancy; children Cheryl, Scott, Jeff, Todd (Susan), Mark and Eric; sister Theresa Rizzo; and grandchildren Chandra, Rachel, Seth & Laura.
Funeral services will be celebrated Friday, January 5, 2018 at 12 Noon, at the Anthony Funeral Home, Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S Main St, where the family will receive friends beginning at 10AM. Interment at St. Nicholas Cemetery.
