Roy Jackson Newberry

Jack Newberry, 94, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2016.
Born in Wolf Creek WV to the late Floyd & Katherine Newberry, Jack had been a Green resident since the 1950's. He retired from Goodyear Aerospace in 1986 with over 37 years of service. Jack, a Mason since 1961, was a 32nd degree Mason of the Wayfarer Lodge #789. He was an avid hunter and golfer.
In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his sister Margaret and brothers Kermit & Travis He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Frieda Newberry of Green; sister Marjorie Bostick and brother Joe (Judith) Newberry, as well as many nieces & nephews.
A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, 4 pm, at the Anthony Funeral Home of Green 4178 Massillon Rd. (at the intersection of Rt. 241 & Steese Rds. in Green; entrance off of Steese), where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
