Roy Donald Gearhart

Roy Donald Gearhart, 92, passed away Saturday, May 15, 2021.
He was born in Akron, Ohio and retired from Georgia Pacific after 42 years of service. He was a member of Bath Church and was Past President of South Akron Lions.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents, William J. and Nannie B. (Sankey) Gearhart; first wife, Elinore in 1987; second wife, Margaret (Peg) in 2010; and brother, William J. Gearhart, III. He is survived by children, Dennis Roy (Barbara) Gearhart, Melynda Nan Ewald, Elaine (Thomas) Turner and Lisa (Gary) Goble; stepsons, David (Beth), Dennis (Michael), Donald (Jared) and Doug (Dana) Chorpenning; 8 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. at Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main Street Akron, Ohio 44301. Rev. Adam Marquette officiating. Masks and Social Distancing Required. Private Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
