Rosina Lee (Long) Puhak

Rosina (Long) Puhak, 76, passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at Copley Health Center.
Rosina was born October 25, 1946, in New Castle PA to Emil and Geraldine (Quigley) Long and came to Akron in 1983.
Rosina is survived by her beloved husband of 45 years, Patrick; siblings Emil (Louise) Long and Janet (Thomas) Smithee; and her beloved Ricky Kitty. Preceded in death by her parents and siblings Charles Long Sr., Jack Long, Sr. and Ricky Long; her dogs Baxter, Anthony, and Sparky and her kitty Lucy.
She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, St. Monica Society, and Sons and Daughters of Italy. She was a medical transcriptionist one of the first home based. Crystal Clinic. She was an avid Euchre player most recently at the Quirk Center.
The family will receive friends Saturday, July 8, 2023, from 10 to 11 Am at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 83 Mosser Place, Akron OH 44310, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. AnthonyCatholic Church, the Humane Society of Summit County,or Sons of Italy Akron Scholarship Fund.
