Rosemary (Keplinger) Capotosto

Rosemary Capotosto, 76, passed away on June 21, 2023.
Rosemary was born in Akron on December 31, 1946 to the late Stephen & Irene Keplinger. She attended high school in Cleveland before graduating from the University of Akron, where she obtained both her Bachelor's and Master's of Education. Rosemary taught at St. Hilary, St. Paul, St. Peter, and Immaculate Conception Catholic Schools. She later was the principal of Immaculate Conception, St. Paul, St. Mary, & St. Anthony of Padua Schools. Rosemary was a longtime member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in North Hill. Rosemary generously volunteered for the Akron-Canton Regional Food Bank and for Summa Health System. She enjoyed reading, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents Rosemary was preceded in death by her brothers Stephen, Jr. & Thomas. She is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years Fernando; her children Angela (Trevor) Rednour, Sergio (Marie), & Roberto (Danielle); grandchildren Brianna, Christian, David, Giordano, Angelina, & Enzo; Sisters Anne (Paul) Williams and Lorrie (Buck) Williams.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 29, from 5-7 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 30, at 10:00 am at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church 83 Mosser Place in Akron. Interment will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.
