Rose (Pamer) Beke

Rose Beke, 83, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2024.
She was born to the late Ignatz and Rose (Molnar) Pamer in Nemetker, Hungary on November 7, 1940. Rose came to the United States with her family in 1952. She met her late husband, Berthold Beke at the German American Club in Akron. They were later married at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Wadsworth in 1960. Rose worked as a hairdresser and in various retail stores for many years.
In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by her grandparents and granddaughter, Christan (Beke) Kniffin. Rose is survived by her children Gary (Susan) Beke; Tony (Deena) Beke; Rosemarie (Aaron) Lakota; 9 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren and sister Mitzi (Pamer) Goss.
The family will receive friends on Friday, August 30, 2024, from 4-6 PM at the Anthony Funeral Homes, Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S Main St in Akron where a funeral service will take place the following day on Saturday August 31, 2024, at 10 AM. A graveside service will immediately follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Akron.
