Ronnie Lynn Smith

Ronnie Lynn Smith went home to be with the Lord November 6, 2014.
He was born October 26, 1946 to Frank and Helen Smith in Akron. He spent his life in Akron where he attended St. Mary's Grade School and graduated from Hower Trade. He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War. He retired from B.F. Goodrich. He loved coon hunting, big foot and his walks with his beloved dog, Bubbles.
He was preceded in death by his little daughter, Jodie Lynn; and his father, Frank Smith. He is survived by his daughter, Michelle (Alex) Smith; 3 grandchildren, Jodie, Steven and Jesse Kapeluck; mother, Helen Smith; brother, Larry (Anna) Smith; sisters, Toni (Bruce) Coleman and Donna (David) Sims; many nieces, nephews and lots of relatives and friends.
Funeral service will held Monday, 11 a.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. Akron, Ohio 44301. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends Sunday, 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. (Anthony, Akron, 330-724-1281, www.anthonyfh.com)
