AKRON - Ronald A. Powell, age 86, passed away at home on Saturday, Dec. 11, 2021, with his loving wife and family by his side. He was born on June 2, 1935, in Akron, the son of Prosper and Anna Powell.

Following his graduation, he was drafted into the U.S. Army in September 1958 and served four years of active duty. He spent two years of his service in Oklahoma, coordinating troop movement.
