Ronald E. Green Jr.

Ronald E. Green Jr., age 47, passed away unexpectedly on October 21, 2026.

Born on August 7, 1979, Ronald was a graduate of North High School. He went on to build a dedicated career with the City of Akron, where he served as a Master Equipment Mechanic Supervisor. Ronald proudly gave more than 10 years of service to the city and was known for his hard work, knowledge, and dedication to his profession.

Ronald was preceded in death by his mother, Harriette A. Green; his father, Ronald E. Green Sr.; and his sister, Holly A. Green.

He is survived by his sister, Sarah J. Bjerre; his beloved niece, Madelyn A. Bjerre; and many aunts, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

Ronald's unexpected passing leaves a profound emptiness in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed, and his memory will forever remain with his family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 30, 2026 from 5-6PM at the Anthony Funeral Home - Akron Chapel, 1990 S Main St. in Akron, where a service will be held at 6PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to One of a Kind Pet Rescue via https://www.oneofakindpets.com .
