Roberta (Bobbi) Buehl

November 5, 1956 — May 2, 2023

Roberta Lea "Bobbi" Buehl, 66, of Akron, Ohio, passed away at home with family on May 2, 2023. Born November 5, 1956, she was preceded in death by her parents Robert E. Buehl and Rose Ann Love and eldest brother, Michael Buehl.
Bobbi was a high-spirited woman who loved to travel (mostly to the beach), loved to feed people (hated to cook), enjoyed spending time with her friends and family (as much as she could tolerate), but was most passionate about her son Jeremy (yes, she was a boy mom). She was also an avid bingo player, which she enjoyed very much with her best friend of more than 63 years, Brenda (Leroy) Swartz.
Bobbi spent the last six years of her life battling lung cancer and is by far the strongest woman most of us will have ever known. During her fight against cancer, she not only used traditional treatments, but she also signed herself up for trials and new studies that she'd hoped would someday lead the world to a cure...even if not in her lifetime.
It was the School of Hard Knocks where Bobbi learned to survive, and she spent much of her life working very hard to support her family. She was very proud of her Color Technician career, loved being a Mortgage Loan Officer, and she also enjoyed being an Insurance Sales Agent for her last working years.
The third oldest of eight, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, cousin, and friend was dearly loved and will be deeply missed.
Bobbi is survived by her daughter Michelle (Patrick) Davin; son Jeremy Buehl; sisters Kim Armour, Lynn (Kerry) Armour; brothers Tom (Liz) Buehl, Jody (Freda) Armour, Jeff (Michelle) Armour, Fred (Sheila) Armour and former partner Patrick Crosier. It must be said that one of Bobbi's greatest joys in life was being a grandma to Sarah, Krista, and Cody, Nana to Bentley, and GG to Holden and Ivy.
A celebration of Bobbi's life will be held Saturday, May 20th, from 4 to 6 pm at the Anthony Funeral Home McGowan-Reid & Santos Chapel, 247 Stow Ave, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221
The family invites all who wish to continue this celebration to join them immediately following at one of Bobbi's favorite local "hot spots," The Clubhouse at 2970 6th St #5, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. (Right around the corner).
