Robert L. Yost, 93, passed away Thursday, June 17, 2021.
Bob served in the US Navy during WWII and then worked for B.F. Goodrich, retiring in 1983. He was an avid bowler and past president of the Akron Bowling Association and a member of the Tri-County Hall of Fame.
Bob was preceded by his wife Martha; sister Esther Benson; and brother Raymond. He is survived by his sons Robert B. (Cindy Johns) & James (Stephanie); grandchildren, Joseph, Rachel and Robert B. Jr (Stephanie); great-grandchildren TJ, Tyler, David & Jonah; and many nieces & nephews.
Bob will be interred at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Donations may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, 139 S High St, Akron, OH 44308.
