Robert E. Carmack

Robert E. Carmack, 85, passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2014 in Akron.
Bob was born on September 21, 1929 to the late Charles and Anna Carmack in Dover. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict, and married Irene Holick in 1954. Bob worked in sales at R.C.A. Rubber Company, retiring in 1994. He enjoyed wood working and gardening. Bob was a member of the Moose Club and St. John Lutheran Church.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Irene. He is survived by his children Rene and Kenneth Carmack; and brother Charles (Pauline) Carmack.
A funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, November 5 at St. John Lutheran Church, 550 E. Wilbeth Road, in Akron. Interment will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. A procession to the cemetery will start at the Anthony Funeral Home, Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St. in Akron, at 1 PM on Thursday. Donations may be made to St. John Lutheran, 550 E.
