Richard Joseph Macak

Richard Joseph Macak, 59, passed away Monday, April 16, 2018 at the VNS Hospice Care Center. Richard was born December 13, 1958 to the late John J. and Rose Virginia (Toth) Macak in Akron and had been an area resident his entire life, currently living in Elyria. He was employed by Target and as a home health care provider for TLC. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Amherst. Richard is survived by his brothers John (June), Dave (Carol), Jim and Robert (Amy) Macak; nephews and nieces Josh Macak, Allison (Kevin) Gibbs, Jeremy Macak and Angela (Matt) Milosovic; and great nieces Dylan and Marley Gibbs. A funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. Paul Catholic Church, 1580 Brown St., Akron OH 44301 where the family will receive friends from 9:00am until time of services. Inurnment Holy Cross Cemetery.
